With nearly a decade of design experience at a boutique London agency, from Junior Designer to Design Director, Laura discovered her passion for designing and creating a little bit of joy early on becoming obsessed with all things beauty and gifting. After moving back to her hometown in the Midlands, Laura made the decision to pursue The Fig Sisters, joining forces with her sister Katie to work with more brands and spark more joy.

With a love for textiles and trends, Katie’s career began in London as a studio and marketing assistant for an established accessories designer. Upon moving back to the Midlands, Katie’s creative entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of Copper & Solder - a minimal home interiors brand favoured by stylists and sought-after for bespoke designs by brands like Seedlip and Selfridges.

An experienced management and operations professional, Mark’s career spans over 8 years in the property sector. After relocating to the Midlands with wife Laura, Mark joined forces with The Fig Sisters to oversee all operations for the creative studio. Mark manages commercial ventures and business relationships, accounts, investments, and project management - oh and he makes a pretty mean cup of tea too!
